CLOSURE FOR MAY & JUNE 2025
May & June - Chauncy will closed as Louis and Tess return to France to spend time with family and friends.

The restaurant will re-open in July. Mid-May will see the release of July reservations. Sign up to the newsletter for winter bookings. Or check back to the website as they will be released shortly.

HOSTED TABLE

Inclusive dining experience, menu du jour, wine progression and tea 348 per person

For the month of July, we’ll be offering two tables per day:

• One table for six guests in our private dining room, at 12.30 pm

• One chef’s table seating up to eight guests, at 1 pm

*If you’d like to come as a group of four, you’re very welcome to join the waitlist for the chef’s table. We’ll be in touch if we’re able to accommodate this for that day. Please note, in this instance, it would be a shared table with another group.

DIETARY POLICY

We are not able to offer a vegetarian or vegan menu, nor menus that are free of lactose and/or alliums (onions/garlic).

We are unable to accommodate significant dietary restrictions. However, we may be able to make very minor adjustments on a case-by-case basis.

Surprise dietaries and allergies will not be able to be accommodated on the day. To avoid disappointment, please take the time to check in with the others guests in your party.

 

WAITING LIST
If there is a date you are hoping for but it is currently full, please use the waitlist to have priority. Follow the ‘reservations’ button below and click on your desired date and time and then click 'Join Waiting List'.
Please then agree to our booking terms and conditions and enter your correct contact details. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

The hosted table will include an apéritif on arrival, our multi-course menu, wine pairings, tisanes from the Chauncy garden, French press coffee, and filtered still or sparkling water.

You’ll still be welcome to opt in on the day for reserve wine pairings, to select a special extra bottle from our reserve list, or to unwind after the meal with a digestif, a whisky, a Cognac, or an Armagnac. For those wishing to do a half pairing or smaller pours, we’ll also offer a selection of our sans alcool (0%) to complement.

NOTE FOR SMALLER BOOKINGS

If you’d like to reserve as a smaller group of two to four guests, please place yourself on the waitlist for the chef’s table and we will be in contact via email to confirm. Noting this would be a shared table.

*At this stage we plan to re-introduce smaller tables in August, once we have access back to our main dining space.
