Waitlist

If there is a date you are hoping for but it currently full, please use the waitlist to have priority. Follow the ‘reservations’ button below and click on your desired date and time and then click 'Join Waiting List'. Please then agree to our booking terms and conditions and enter your contact details. You will receive a confirmation email and/or call to confirm your reservation.

Dietary Requirements

Due to the nature of our Menu du Jour, a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for all dietary requirements and we ask that you advise of dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Unfortunately, we cannot change the menu on the day.

As we are a small team both front of house and in the kitchen, please be aware that while pescatarian and vegetarian menus are available with notice, we are unable to offer a vegan menu. Further to this, we are unable to offer a dairy or allium free menu du jour as we are unable to completely eliminate lactose and/or alliums (onions/garlic), guests must be ok with traces of .

Timing & Young Diners

Chauncy is open for lunch, Friday through to Monday, from 12.30 pm. Please allow a minimum of 3-4 hours to enjoy the Menu due Saison

We do welcome young diners, but please note that we do not offer a reduced-priced menu.

Please be aware that due to the small dining spaces, we do not supply and are unable to provide space for highchairs or prams.

 

The Menu de Saison at Chauncy

Our four-course set menu champions local produce and seasonality. We choose to work this way to showcase the produce from around us, respect the season and minimise waste. We work directly with growers, farmers and artisan producers as we find this close link makes our work in the kitchen that much more rewarding. 

We have grown a beautiful market garden at Chauncy which is contributing to the menu more and more with each season. The gardens and adjoining terrace are a wonderful place to wander when taking a pause from lunch.

Chauncy’s menu is designed as a long lunch and we ask that all guests allow a minimum of 3-4 hours to enjoy the experience. Click here to read our current Menu du Printemps

While we do our best to accommodate dietaries and allergies, it is important to note that we cannot offer a vegan, allium-free (onions/garlic) or dairy-free menu.

Due to the small size of our team, surprise dietaries and allergies may not be able to be accommodated and we ask that all dietary requirements are noted at the time of booking.

Please note: we do not take advance bookings or groups larger than six guests. We do welcome young diners, however, we do not offer a reduced-priced menu, and we are unable to accommodate highchairs or prams.
